Dog Daycare & Boarding in Redmond
Long workday ahead? Drop your dog off at Jax Dog Drop Redmond, where they'll spend the day playing with friends instead of waiting at home alone. We're a family-owned Eastside business, and our goal is simple: hand you back a tired, happy pup at pickup. Our Redmond location has an outdoor fenced yard where dogs can run, play and socialize.
What we offer in Redmond

A day at daycare
Weekday drop-off starts at 6:30 AM. Our experienced handlers group dogs by size and play style and watch closely all day, moving dogs between groups as their energy changes. Dogs romp through open play areas and play structures, spend time in the fenced outdoor area, and take breaks for naps, meals and cuddles with staff. Summer brings pools and water toys, and fall and winter bring events like a Halloween Costume Contest and Pictures with Santa. We can't offer live video, but our handlers post photos on Facebook and Instagram every day.
Getting started
Every new dog starts with a Meet & Greet, a 2–4 hour trial so we can see how your dog settles into the pack. You won't need to stay for it.
- Register for Redmond on our Meet & Greet page.
- Upload vaccination records and a recent fecal test using our vaccination form.
- Book a weekday slot online: 9 AM–1 PM, 10 AM–2 PM or 1 PM–5 PM.
Before the visit, your dog needs current Bordetella, Rabies and DHPP vaccines, a negative fecal exam for giardia and parasites (repeated every 6 months), and regular flea and tick prevention. Puppies need their first two rounds of shots, and dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months.

Redmond FAQ
Does my dog have to love playing with other dogs? No. Some dogs, especially very small ones, aren't big on traditional play, but they still benefit from being around other dogs regularly.
Are there breed restrictions? No. We evaluate every dog individually during the Meet & Greet trial.
What does daycare cost? A full day in Redmond starts at $50, and monthly packages lower the daily rate. See current pricing.
Is there training during daycare? There's no formal training in daycare, though we reinforce good manners. For classes, see our training classes, all held in Issaquah.
